“Those things which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, are seen in me, do and the peace of God shall be with you” – Philippians 4:19

Following the mandate of Jesus Christ, the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas views children as vital to the existence and growth of the church. Christ called us to be one – “on earth and it is in heaven” so that the world would know God’s love and believe.

Our love of Christ, sharing the Good News, results in vibrant youth programs that are available for all children ages 4-18 to know God’s love.

Our children form lifelong friendships with each other as that foundation encourages them to return to church and cements the community of faith.

The Acolyte Guild trains, inspires, and encourages young men and women, ages 8 and up, to be faithful and dedicated Christians through service and fellowship. The overall thrust of this program is to assist the priest in serving the congregation during services. more...
