Men’s Ministry and Fellowship
What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? ... James 2:14
Purpose:
The Men's Fellowship is a Christ centered brotherhood of the men of the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas committed to spreading the Word to the men and boys in our communities through spiritual and secular ministries.
Activities:
Over the years, it has been proven that serving the LORD and having fun can go hand in hand. Our fundraising events have included bowling parties, theater night out, crab feasts, dances and events for the youth. The Men's Ministry & Fellowship is also responsible for organizing and operating the Annual Church Picnic, a free event that promotes family togetherness, evangelism and outreach.

Membership and Fellowship:
Every man in the church is considered a member of the MM&F. All men are invited to attend our monthly meetings, normally held at the church every 3rd Saturday at 8:30AM unless otherwise notified. Attendance at our meetings is not a requirement for membership, however, only dues paying members may vote on issues brought before the body.
Annual dues are $20.00, payable upon joining and every September thereafter. The Sunday following our meeting, men are encouraged to wear a black or dark suit and red tie as a sign of unity. Every man regardless of dress or involvement in the group is encouraged to walk together to receive communion. Additionally men are invited to attend rehearsal to sing in the Men's Choir on 5th Sundays.
The Men's Fellowship Prayer
Almighty GOD, Father of every family, who through your son, Jesus Christ, has poured out your best gift of love to be the bond of perfectness among men and the means of bringing men together; we beseech YOU, Bless all Men's fellowship organizations throughout the world, and especially in this Diocese, and primarily at the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas; let love and happiness ever be found among us and may our faith in YOU grow stronger each day we live: Forever our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST - AMEN
