Men's Ministry and Fellowship...

“What does it profit my brethren, if someone says he has faith,
but does not have works?”
James 2:14

Purpose:
The Men's Fellowship is a Christ centered brotherhood of the men of the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas committed to spreading the Word to the men and boys in our communities through spiritual and secular ministries.

Activities:
Over the years, it has been proven that serving the LORD and having fun can go hand in hand. Past sponsored events have included bowling parties, theater night out, crab feasts, cabarets and events for the youth. The Men's Ministry & Fellowship is also responsible for organizing and operating the Annual Church Outing, a free event that promotes family togetherness, evangelism and outreach, as well as fellowshipping with other men’s ministries within the Diocese.

Members of the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas support our parish commitment to an open Christ centered community in which the Gospel is taught, lived, and spread. This support is illustrated regularly through the active participation of members in a broad scope of guilds, organizations and programs.

The guilds and organizations of the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas are diverse in scope offering service, spiritual enhancement as well as fundraising and fun raising activities. They provide an opportunity to use ones talents and spiritual gifts, for Christian fellowship and for engendering a true sense of church family.

Throughout the year special events such as musical concerts, trips, seminars and exhibits are planned. Coffee hours, held on Sundays following the worship service, and weekly Lenten dinners are hosted by the guilds of the church.

Fundraising:
Responsible for developing, managing and implementing a calendar of family oriented activities for revenue generation to support MMF activities.
